Hyde-Addison’s Annual Gala and Auction brings our community together to raise essential funds that directly support the programs, resources, and enhancements that help every student thrive and make our beloved school so special. Bottom line: this auction supports a great cause—our children and public school education.

We’re excited to announce that this year’s Spring Gala will be 'Jazz After Dark'—an adults-only evening inspired by Washington, DC’s rich jazz legacy and the vibrant, creative spirit of our Hyde-Addison community.  Join us for a night of live music, great food, beer and wine, and plenty of good vibes. Drawing inspiration from DC’s long-standing role as a hub for jazz—past and present—this evening will celebrate music as a universal language that brings people together.  

Why the Gala Matters
Hyde-Addison’s Annual Gala and Auction is one of our largest fundraisers of the year, bringing together school families and the wider DC community to support our students.

How Funds Are Raised
Funds are raised from ticket sales, cash sponsorships, and our online silent and live auctions.

Auction items include: gift cards, summer camp slots, themed-baskets, concert and event tickets, weekend getaways and much more. There’s truly something for everyone.

Where Your Support Goes
Every dollar raised goes directly to Hyde-Addison and helps fund: classroom supplies, school technology, teacher & staff retention, teacher development, and music & art programs (to list a few)!

Everyone Is Welcome

• Ticket sales are open to everyone—even if you don’t have a current student at Hyde-Addison. 

• Our silent and live auctions are open to everyone, and bidding can be done whether or not you’re able to join us in person. It’s an easy and meaningful way to support Hyde-Addison from anywhere.
